We are a leading commercial-industrial HVAC construction company seeking an experienced financial controller to join our estimation team. Our team collaborates closely with building owners and facilities managers to design and implement innovative, tailored HVAC solutions that meet the specific needs of each facility.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, based on the location in Olean, NY, and industry standards.

Job Description

We seek a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of accounting/finance experience in the construction industry. The successful candidate will assist our CFO in preparing monthly and annual financial reports and statements for the executive team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the collection process.
  • Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings.
  • Reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost monthly.
  • Provide technical accounting support to operations and sales staff with management of service and project contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience in the Construction Industry is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Viewpoint Vista or other similar ERP accounting software.
