We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onboarding Coordinator to join our team at Pilgrim's. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding process for new hires.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety is a top priority and is responsible for compliance and enforcement of all safety directives.
- Onboarding Support: Track and support new hires once they complete their orientation, and follow the new hires for the first 45-60 days after hire to ensure a complete introduction to the facility and their new job.
- Training and Development: Demonstrate hands-on training techniques for new hires during the onboarding period and make recommendations to the Onboarding Supervisor about individual training needs, concerns, and special circumstances.
- Program Administration: Administer, track, and evaluate the Onboarding Training Program in accordance with the program guidelines.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Human Resources and Operations to ensure new hires have proper training for successful onboarding and develop and promote positive working relationships between new hires, peers, and leaders.
- Committee Participation: Participate in Human Resources and company committees.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Previous Training Experience: Previous training experience is required.
- Effective Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate with others, and bilingual is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work in hot/cold areas, stand for long periods of time, and know how to perform all jobs in the area.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
- Professional Communication: Professional communication and demeanor are essential.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and questions in a well-thought-out, positive, and professional manner to employees.
- Teamwork: Excellent presentation skills and ability to foster an atmosphere of teamwork with others.
- Independence: Able to work independently.
- Industrial Environment: Must be willing to work in a plant/industrial environment.
- Educational Requirement: High School Diploma/GED is required.
