Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Software Specialist to join our team in Cupertino, California. As a member of our Ecosystem Tools team, you'll work on developing software that supports the development of Apple's hardware product line. The ideal candidate will have experience with Machine Learning and AI, as well as strong programming skills in Python or other object-oriented languages.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality code that's testable, scalable, and maintainable by others
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to distill complex requirements into actionable plans
- Research new Machine Learning techniques and advocate for innovative ways to apply them to real-world problems
- Lead design reviews, author documentation, and provide feedback on peer designs
- Represent your work to the team and leadership through demos, presentations, and retrospectives

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of software engineering experience in Machine Learning or AI applications
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with LLMs, designing and training ML models, and building RAG pipelines
- Ability to architect complex systems in a reusable, modular way
- Curiosity to learn new technologies and passion for sharing knowledge with others
