Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and assembling aerospace components into final assembly. You will also perform required testing necessary for final product acceptance. Your attention to detail and ability to read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Documentation:

You will obtain the proper work instructions for assigned jobs and interact with production planning personnel as required. You will be responsible for filling out documentation necessary to satisfy all MABS Kentucky government and customer requirements. Your ability to inspect product and complete documentation accurately will be crucial in meeting our quality standards.

Equipment:

You must be able to operate hydraulic test equipment after appropriate training. You will also be required to use power hand tools and operate auxiliary machine tools as needed.

Safety:

You will be responsible for working in a safe manner and observing all company procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety matters. Your ability to follow safety protocols and report any incidents will be essential in maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary certificate/high school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment. You must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and possess the necessary mathematic skills associated with discreet part manufacturing.
