Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and strategies to individuals to support their daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
  • Transport individuals to community settings, medical appointments, and outings/field trips.
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
  • Assist individuals with developmental goals, such as community participation and personal growth.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable and responsible attitude
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to quality
