We are seeking a highly skilled Anatomic Pathology Technician to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the processing and examination of anatomic pathology specimens.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately accession and process anatomic pathology specimens for examination and testing.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
- Provide assistance with specialty specimen collection and other laboratory tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory and high-quality patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No license or certification required, but previous experience in anatomic pathology or clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
