Job Title: Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist

Allied 24/7 is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist to join our team in Riverhead, New York. This is a 12-week assignment, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced C.T. Technologist to work in our diagnostic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images, reports, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, (CT) certification preferred.
  • Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
  • Vaccinated for Influenza, seasonal.
