About the Role

At CommonSpirit Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital facilities.


Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


  • Providing routine cleaning and decluttering services to all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, emergency rooms, and operating rooms.
  • Sanitizing high-touch areas and surfaces using approved chemicals and equipment.
  • Restocking supplies as needed in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms.
  • Properly disposing of medical waste, including biohazardous materials.
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning is preferred.
