Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team at HIGH POINT VETERINARY SERVICE PC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including obtaining blood samples and placing IV catheters.
  • Administer medications and provide basic care to animals, including feeding and medicating.
  • Operate anesthesia equipment, intubate, and attach surgical monitors as needed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience working in a veterinary hospital.
  • Ability to work most weekends, with clinic hours Monday-Friday 7:45am-6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm.
  • Basic understanding of common medications and ability to administer them safely.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work on feet all day.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, speak, and write in English.
