Job Title: Principal Litigation Attorney

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Litigation Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for managing complex commercial litigation cases, providing strategic advice, and representing our clients in federal and state courts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct all phases of complex commercial litigation, from case inception through final resolution, including trial and appeal.
  • Represent clients in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and administrative hearings.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop innovative and effective litigation strategies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients on a wide range of commercial issues.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting commercial litigation.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including networking events, client presentations, and proposal development.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and eligibility to practice law in federal court.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a strong track record of success in federal and state courts.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal research platforms, case management systems, and other legal technology tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation cases independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate legal risks.
