Job Description:
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining the premise repairs and cleanliness as well as equipment repairs. This includes providing efficient and courteous service to all customers, exhibiting 'hands on' and direct approach with customers, and performing tasks such as trash pick-up, sign hanging, light bulb replacement, and landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
- Exhibit 'hands on' and direct approach with customers.
- Pick up trash throughout the entire lot.
- Hang signs as necessary.
- Replace burnt out light bulbs and stained ceiling tiles.
- Ensure landscape is appealing.
- Maintain sales lot, storage closets, and outside storage shed in an orderly, clean, and free of debris manner.
- Complete minor building repairs.
- Ensure security fence is operational.
- Assist in the movement of furniture as necessary.
- Paint building, fence, lane lines as necessary.
- Facilitate the movement of sales vehicles around sales lot as needed.
- Inventory and maintain all building supplies.
- Inventory and maintain all fluids.
- Set the field and turn the field after sale day.
- Assist with reconditioning as needed.
- Assist with transportation as needed.
- Communicate issues that may be detrimental to operations to Management in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and self-disciplined.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
