**Job Summary**

At Albany Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Medical Cardiac Hospitalist team. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

**Requirements**

  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
