Job Summary

The IPM Applicator is a key role in our team at Vertis, responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our crops through effective pest management practices. This position requires a strong understanding of integrated pest management (IPM) principles and the ability to apply them in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply pesticides, fungicides, and other control measures to plants of all growth stages, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Fertigation Supervisor to optimize tank dosing and ensure accurate application of control measures.
  • Document all pesticide and fungicide usage, as well as track PPE and application supplies.
  • Perform regular scouting of plants and maintain a clean and organized pesticide storage room.
  • Adhere to all company environmental, health, and safety policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The IPM Applicator will work in a wet environment and must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds. The position requires the ability to see and work in dimly lit rooms with the assistance of green lights. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
