Job Summary:

Middlebury Community Schools is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and providing individualized support to ensure they reach their full potential.

**About the Role:**

As an Early Childhood Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, and hearing problems in students aged 3-5. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies that promote student success.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and hearing concerns
* Provide direct therapy services to students in small group or one-on-one settings
* Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies into the classroom curriculum
* Communicate regularly with parents to share progress and involve them in their child's treatment plan
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood speech and language therapy

**Requirements:**

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
* Indiana Department of Education certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
* Strong knowledge of child development and communication disorders
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

**Work Environment:**

This role will be based at Middlebury Community Schools, where you will have access to a range of resources and support to help you succeed. **Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
