Laboratory Manager

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Manager to lead the operational, technical, and scientific oversight of a laboratory in Carrollton, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory management, with experience in managing laboratory personnel, processes, and compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations follow internal standard operating procedures and regulatory standards of CLIA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory personnel by preparing schedules, providing guidance and direction.
- Maintain flexibility to cover scheduling gaps as needed.
- Maintain strict CLIA Compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and others as needed to resolve issues, maintain ongoing functionality, and document service, project management and repair work.
- Supervise all testing performance, corrective actions, and process improvement.
- Perform or delegate instrument validation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with SOP drafting, maintenance and implementation.
- Maintain QA/QC records and programs.
- Oversee laboratory and accessioning personnel performance, training, and competency.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- B.S. (or higher) in Biology, Medical Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of Clinical Laboratory Experience in a High-Complexity Clinical Lab.
- Prior Supervisor experience is preferred.
- Experience with Dried Blood Spot testing preferred.
- Experience with LCMS testing preferred.
- Experience with Roche analyzers, Panthera Punchers, and liquid handlers preferred.
