We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team at Ken's Foods. As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the regulatory compliance and labeling function, ensuring that our products comply with all applicable regulations, laws, and standards in the markets where they are sold.

The successful candidate will have strong experience developing packaging artwork for NFP content, claims, and labeling requirements for food products. They will also possess established strategic mindset, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication (verbal, written), interpersonal, and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in countries where our products are sold
  • Lead the design and execution of labeling and packaging graphics
  • Manage ingredients, formulas, and labeling specifications using Ken's formula management system (DevEx)
  • Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements for new products or updates to existing products
  • Identify and provide resolution to strategic and tactical regulatory issues
  • Engage with external trade associations and other professional organizations regarding regulatory and legislative issues
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regulatory affairs and labeling team

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food industry
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position
  • B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field; Masters preferred
