Math Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Math Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium. As a Math Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality math education to students of all ages and skill levels.

• Teaching and Tutoring: Deliver math instruction to students in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery, using the Mathnasium Method and terminology.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and engagement, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
• Curriculum Development and Implementation: Stay up-to-date with digital educational materials and processes, and contribute to the development of new curriculum and instructional tools.
• Student Support and Engagement: Foster a safe and professional learning environment, and provide exceptional instruction and support to students.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with non-teaching tasks as needed, such as evaluating student work and maintaining accurate records.

• Mathematical Competence: Possess a strong understanding of math concepts through at least Algebra I.
• Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Be able to balance multiple tasks and priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances as needed.
