Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Exercise Physiologist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Research Exercise Physiologist, you will play a critical role in conducting cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) for approved research study protocols.

• Conduct CPET Testing: Perform high-quality CPET testing for research study protocols, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Provide Results: Accurately analyze and provide results to research teams, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain the CPET machine to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Data Entry: Enter CPET test results into our database for invoicing and record-keeping purposes.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as exercise science, physiology, or a related field.
• Experience: Two years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in exercise physiology and research.
• Certifications: ACSM-EP, ACSM-CEP, or AACVPR certification is required. Additionally, you will be required to undergo ACLS certification and Human Subjects Training for Research.
• Additional Requirements: Must maintain certification during the duration of employment. Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

This is a casual position, working Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment.
