Helicopter Pilot - Air Evac Operations

Job Overview:
As a Helicopter Pilot for Just Helicopters, you will be responsible for managing all flight operations involving company aircraft. This role requires strict adherence to aviation regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations, as well as the Air Evac Operations Manual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aircraft Operation:
  Conduct safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual and applicable regulations. Ensure mission success through vigilant monitoring of weather conditions and adherence to company policies.
• Mission Execution:
  Complete assigned flights while following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Team Collaboration:
  Work effectively as part of a team, particularly in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:
Must possess a Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate, along with a Class I or II Medical Certificate and Helicopter Instrument Rating.

Experience:
Preferred candidates will have previous experience in Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations, with a minimum of:

• 2000 hours of total flight time
• 1500 hours of helicopter flight time
• 1000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
• 500 hours of turbine experience
• 100 hours of night flying, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided if assigned to a NVG base/aircraft

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Weight limit of 230 pounds including flight suit and boots.
• Able to sit for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Exposure to blood-borne pathogens and airborne particles is possible.
• Frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to vibrations and loud noise levels while in-flight.
