Responsibilities- Assist chairside during a variety of dental surgical procedures, demonstrating proficiency and a strong foundation in dental assisting.
- Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain optimal hygiene standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Capture high-quality radiographic images and maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Provide patients with comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to enhance their overall experience and recovery.
- Possession of a High School Diploma and reliable transportation is essential.
- Demonstrated motivation to learn with a genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to direct patient care.
- Previous experience in dental or oral surgery is preferred, showcasing a solid foundation in dental assisting.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to dental practice management tools.
- NH MedTech certification (for NH Assistants only).
- CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
- DAANCE certification is preferred, or the ability to achieve it within 1 year of hire, indicating a commitment to professional development in dental anesthesia and sedation.
- Competitive hourly rate: $22.00-$30.00 per hour.
