Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Novant Health.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the cath lab, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a cath lab or perioperative setting.
  • Advanced certifications in cardiovascular nursing, such as CCRN or CNOR, are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment.
