Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergency situations
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report any safety concerns
  • Respond to accidents, contact emergency services as needed, and administer first aid/CPR
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and notify relevant personnel
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related incidents
  • Handle interruptions and complaints in a professional manner
  • Escort unwelcome individuals from the property and report any incidents to management
  • Complete a daily activity report and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No specific licenses or certifications required
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations is essential.
