Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a licensed psychologist in a clinical setting. As an Associate Psychologist - Clinical Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals, families, and groups under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions to address mental health issues and promote overall well-being.
  • Develop and implement behavioral treatment plans to address mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Provide administrative supervision to lower-level psychology staff and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports to document client progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution.
  • One year of full-time pre-doctoral clinical internship or one year of psychology experience in a clinical setting under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
  • Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of New York.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, with a focus on mental health services.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments and best practices in clinical psychology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
