About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare design documents and drawings for construction projects using CAD software.
  • Analyze building codes and regulations to determine their impact on architectural designs.
  • Draw and detail plans based on instructions from engineers and architects.
  • Visit job sites to gather data and measurements needed to complete designs.
  • Determine the types of materials needed for projects and calculate quantities to be ordered.
  • Ensure work is accurate and completed within project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in Bluebeam or similar software.
  • Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Efficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Design Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two years of AutoCAD experience required.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
