Project Surveyor Job Description

Russell Tobin is seeking a skilled Project Surveyor to join their team in Newark, OH. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for translating field data into CAD drawings to support project deliverables and collaborating with field technicians to clarify and interpret data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish effective communication with users of survey information to ensure complete accomplishment of work in compliance with requirements.
  • Develop Right of Way plans and translate field survey data into end-user documents using AutoCAD and other software products.
  • Prepare property descriptions for recording purposes and plot to scale deeds of property involving various types of descriptions.
  • Interpret construction plans for field layout preparation and collaborate with the team to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or Natural Resource Management with a Land Surveying Technology concentration.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, Open Roads, and GeoPak desired.
  • Current pursuit of PS; OH PS license preferred.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
