Job Summary

The Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sorter to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe sorting of recyclable materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and inspect materials on the conveyor belt, identifying and separating commodities according to their grade, size, and condition.
  • Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Report system problems and safety concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Participate in training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and industry.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety.
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently.
