Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with Next Move Healthcare, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services to various settings using portable X-ray and EKG equipment. This role involves traveling to different locations and requires strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment from the company-provided vehicle to perform exams at designated facilities.
  • Ensure that all X-ray images obtained are clinically diagnostic and meet professional standards.
  • Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, management, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to push/pull between 50-100 lbs. Using ramps and pulleys reduces this weight; however, in certain situations within facilities or homes, the weight may increase, requiring up to 50 lbs. of force multiple times a day.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification.
  • Valid drivers license in good standing.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Documentation is required for exemption requests.
