About the Department:

The Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of recreational programs and services to residents of all ages. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our citizens by providing innovative and inclusive programs, facilities, and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Senior Lunch Program, including meal preparation and activities.
  • Plan, develop, and implement community-wide special events and programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to participant inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistical information related to program attendance and donations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in recreation program management or supervision.
  • Valid California Driver's License and ability to drive a city vehicle.
  • ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain within three months.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
