About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team at StageRight - Rogers Group in Clare, Michigan.
Job Description:
The purpose of this internship is to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Manufacturing Engineering. You will work closely with our engineers to prepare documents and reports, create 3D solid models for standard drawings, and research information related to processes, materials, or equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Support engineers in planning, problem-solving, and implementation
- Provide assistance to meet quality objectives as outlined by Company policy and procedures
- Collaborate with the team to address safety, quality, and delivery issues on a daily basis
- Assist in the creation of documents and reports as required
- Contribute to the development of 3D solid models for standard drawings
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in an engineering discipline and excellent communication skills. A bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university is preferred, along with two years of college experience in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering field.
Education and Experience:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline at a recognized college or university
Two years of college experience in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering field
Language and Mathematical Skills:
You must be able to read, analyze, and interpret the English language and possess basic math skills. Experience with programming logic and robotics is also preferred.
Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills:
You should have the ability to develop a strong work ethic, demonstrate project management capabilities, and exhibit flexibility and fluidity to thrive within a rapidly evolving environment. Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is also required. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
This internship is located on-site in Clare, Michigan.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 per year.
