What You Will Be Responsible For:
As a Manufacturing Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating various processing equipment while adhering to Quality Plan Work Instructions.
  • Collecting and documenting data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting in preventative maintenance and general repair tasks.
  • Engaging in warehousing operations, including forklift handling.
  • Utilizing automated systems and technology to execute work tasks efficiently.
  • Conducting field management activities, such as scouting and logistical planning.
  • Supporting harvest operations, including seed sampling and truck unloading.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
  • A High School Diploma/GED or a commitment to obtain your GED.
  • The ability to work in various conditions, including elevated areas and extreme weather.
  • The capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid US driver's license for potential travel to field locations.
  • A willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime during peak seasons.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • An associate degree or completion of a two-year trade program.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience with WMS and SAP/ERP systems.
  • Previous leadership experience and forklift operation skills.
