Grill Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality farm-fresh food to our guests. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, and vegetables according to company recipes and plating standards.
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
  • Work effectively with other team members to deliver high-quality meals to our guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and sanitation standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of related experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
