Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, providing timely and professional assistance to ensure their safe and efficient travel.
  • Provide preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel technician or heavy duty mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
