Electrical Assembly Specialist

Electroswitch is a leading manufacturer of electrical switches and relays, with over 65 years of experience in designing and building rugged, high-quality products. We are seeking an Electrical Assembly Specialist to join our team in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
The Electrical Assembly Specialist will be responsible for assembling electrical switches according to specifications and prints. This includes identifying parts by description, drawings, and simple measurements, and operating various machines such as grinders, drill presses, hydraulic presses, or rivet machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble repetitive, routine production switches from material lists using assembly drawings.
- Identify parts by description, drawings, and simple measurements, and pull parts from storage bins for assigned jobs as listed on material lists and assembly drawings.
- Operate grinder, drill press, hydraulic press, or rivet machines for tasks such as gapping, lugging, and stamping.
- Sign on and off the job.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Build sub-assemblies if required.
- May perform responsibilities of the Sub-Assembler.
- Assist in the upkeep of the area.
Requirements:
- This position requires a level of knowledge that is usually associated with a High school/Vocational school diploma with three months to one year of assembly experience.
- Must be able to understand and read English.
- Must be capable of using hand tools, hydraulic presses, grinders, drill presses, and rivet machines and able to read blueprints.
