Responsibilities:


We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Residential and Commercial Pest Inspection Specialist to evaluate building structures (both residential and commercial) and their surroundings for wood-destroying organisms that may be inflicting damage on the wooden components of the buildings.

The pest management industry often surprises with its depth. Pest management is primarily a preventive measure to ensure our clients do not experience recurring pest issues.

Similar to electricians or HVAC professionals, our ultimate aim is to guarantee the safety and well-being of the clients we serve.

What You'll Do


Conduct thorough inspections of various commercial and residential properties to identify the presence of pests, fungi (such as dry-rot), termites, and other wood-destroying organisms; assess the severity of infestations and the extent of structural damage.


Inspect various commercial and residential buildings to identify rodent activity and potential entry points, evaluating the severity of infestations and the impact on materials, insulation, and access points related to the structure.

Estimate and sell insulation projects for both residential and commercial clients, including measuring and calculating insulation removal and installation estimates.

Examine attics and sub-areas when accessible.


Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations using the current version of Clark Pest Control's WDO Code Book (ensuring handwriting is clear and organized).

Document notes, findings, and recommendations for situations not explicitly covered in the code book.

Create diagrams and charts illustrating the type, severity, and location of infestations.

Engage directly with homeowners, home buyers, and their representatives regarding the work to be performed.

Determine costs, estimate crew time, and schedule work.

Coordinate with crew members to ensure that tasks are completed legally, professionally, and according to specifications.

Handle and account for company funds.

Maintain company-issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and orderly condition at all times.

Qualifications:
What You'll Need

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Familiarity with construction methods and terminology

Understanding of wood-destroying organisms and their impacts

Valid driver's license required

Ability to obtain the necessary pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company-sponsored)

Ability to secure a Contractor's State License Board Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license within the first 90 days of employment

Capability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments
