Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced RN PCU to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at Norton Women's & Children's. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Position

This is a 4-month contract position that offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working with critically ill children. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Current RN license in state of practice required; compact license accepted
  • ACLS certification required; BLS certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Pediatric Critical Care or similar setting
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development through ongoing education and training programs.

Estimated Salary: $147,500/year
