Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a skilled Warehouse Stocker to join our team in the Produce department. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
Performs regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures that shelf pricing is accurate and up-to-date.
Assists in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.
Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly reports any issues to supervisors.
Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure that the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.
Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.

Physical Demands:
Frequent walking and standing on concrete for up to 10 hours per day.
Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.
Frequently pushing and pulling objects weighing 500 to 1,500 pounds.
Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing more than 60 pounds.

Work Environment:
Frequent exposure to cold and freezing temperatures.
Equipment in motion, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and scooters.
Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.
May be required to work in other departments as needed.
