We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Resident Specialist in Critical Care at Asheville Specialty Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

\

The Nurse Resident Specialist in Critical Care will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care and support the transition of new graduates into the clinical setting. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive training program that includes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.

About the Required Qualifications

\

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\
  • \
  • A Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCL) certification obtained within 30 days of employment\
  • An Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment\
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing\
  • A Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State\
  • No previous experience is required, but some travel may be needed for training\
  • You must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)\
