MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the CT department.


Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Screen patients for contrast allergies and ensure proper patient identification and education about procedures
  • Efficiently complete all exams, maintaining workflow and minimizing downtime
  • Ensure thorough follow-up with patients post-examination, including communication, transportation, and discharge
  • Conduct quality assurance on CT scanners and participate in the proper handling and transport of pharmaceutical waste

Requirements:
  • ARRT - R certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of CT procedures and CT scanners
  • Ability to learn and grow with new technology
  • Customer Service skills
  • CT Safety including radiation protection

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AS or BS degree in Radiological Technology
  • Prior CT experience
  • General computer skills and PACS
  • General physics and anatomy
