CNC Machinist

Trotter Workforce is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and materials.

• Machine Operation: Assist in set-up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, facing, milling, and drilling.
• Blueprint Reading: Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical documents.
• Programming and Setup: Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Material Preparation: Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Maintenance: Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

• CNC Experience: 10 years of experience with CNC milling machines and 5 years with CNC lathes.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience as a CNC operator, skill in setting tooling, precision gages, and basic understanding of conversational programming and CAD/CAM.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or a relevant discipline is a plus.
• Additional Requirements: Successfully completed apprenticeship is a plus, familiarity with Mazak CNC machines is beneficial but not required.
