Job Title: Driver-Shuttle

Join Core-Mark, a leading distributor of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry, as a Driver-Shuttle. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting empty trailers to our warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedules, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
  • Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight, and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailers, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Complete daily records of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • Valid CDL A
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
