Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in Green River, WY. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, processing shipments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and manage incoming deliveries, including receiving shipments and rejecting shipments as required.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and goods checked out, utilizing internal check-out sheets and shipment receiving verifications.
  • Process orders in SAP to enable accounts payable, moving items to assigned locations and distributing special orders to appropriate departments.
  • Conduct regular audits of internal components available through the check-out process.
  • Operate a forklift truck in the warehouse and outside at the loading dock, as needed.
  • Monitor minimum and/or maximum levels of inventoried items based on usage or lead time parameters, reporting discrepancies for further consideration.
  • Assist with troubleshooting SAP issues related to invoicing and accounts payable.
  • Arrange transportation for outgoing shipments and track incoming and outgoing shipments, including items for return to vendor, repairs, and other plant requests.
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve discrepancies in deliveries.
  • Assist plant personnel with locating inventoried components or items delivered as part of a work order.
  • Fill in for the Inventory Controls Specialist in their absence.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities related to the ongoing management of the Stores Warehouse, including cleaning, shelf organizing, updating bin locations, and supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or business.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with computer literacy gained through 2-3 years of working familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with inventory software is a plus, and one to three years of industrial warehouse and/or inventory knowledge is necessary.
  • Functional experience with SAP is highly desirable.
