Your Role

You will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.">
  • Fostering positive relationships with parents and communicating effectively about their child's progress.">
  • Working closely with Head Teachers and the Director of Early Childhood Programs to monitor developmental benchmarks and establish individualized learning plans.">
  • Embodying and sharing our agency's mission through activities and learning opportunities that promote equity, cultural differences, and curiosity.">
  • Providing exceptional care and attention to the daily needs of our students, including feeding, changing, playing, and preparing them for lifelong learning.">

Qualifications and Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you should have:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 18 years of age and a CDA (Child Development Associate) certification or higher.">
  • Meet all New York State Licensing and NAEYC requirements for childcare staff, including fingerprinting, background checks, and mandatory training.">
  • At least one year of relevant specific childcare experience or training.">
  • A high level of interest in working with children and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">

Salary and Benefits

">

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.25-$18.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance for individuals and families, paid vacation time, up to 21 approved personal days, paid sick time, and a 401K plan.
