Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our orthopedic team at Northside Hospital Inc. as a physician extender. This role will involve assisting in the office and operating room, with a focus on shoulder and elbow care, as well as general orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the office and operating room as part of an orthopedic team
  • Practice focus on shoulder and elbow care, adult and pediatric sports medicine, and general orthopedics
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication and organizational skills
Requirements
  • Board of Certification (BOC) certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC-ATC)
  • License by the Georgia Board of Athletic Trainers (Licensed Athletic Trainer-LAT)
  • Preferred qualifications include Orthopaedic Technologist-Certified (OTC) through the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologist (NBCOT)
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am-2:00pm
