Job Summary:

The Lab Medical Assistant IV is responsible for assisting the technical staff within the technical departments, handling manual pretesting procedures, and working in a team environment. This role requires strong organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills, as well as customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the technical staff within the technical departments
  • Handle any and all manual pretesting procedures, including waived testing as required
  • Work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills
  • Use computer skills appropriate to position
  • Must have customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
  • Identify problems and implement and/or recommend solutions
Requirements:
  • Required - Driver's License (if applicable)
  • Required - ASCP / SCYM (if applicable)
  • Required - AMT Medical Technologists (if applicable)
  • Required - ASPT Phlebotomy Technicians (if applicable)
  • Required - High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred - Technical Science
  • Preferred - Associate's
  • Required - 1 year in related field
  • Preferred - 2 years in related field
