Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Jay Hatfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide estimates for repairs.
• Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment, adhering to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair, with a focus on service and maintenance.
• ASE certification or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL (if required).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
