Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified individual for the role of Shipping Operations Supervisor. This position is crucial in managing the daily logistics activities within our store's Shipping & Receiving Department.

This role is hands-on, directly engaging with the shipping team to ensure efficient handling, packaging, and dispatching of products.

The successful candidate will have a background in logistics, packaging, and shipping operations. They will exhibit strong leadership and organizational capabilities while managing daily responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage daily shipping operations on the shipping floor.
2. Participate in the preparation and processing of shipments, including picking, packaging, labeling, and loading items.
3. Collaborate with the Parts Department Leader to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
4. Supervise and mentor shipping team members.
5. Utilize VHI software systems to monitor orders and confirm shipment details.
6. Ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
7. Address and resolve issues related to shipping discrepancies, delays, and team member concerns.
8. Maintain adherence to safety protocols.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
Typically 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage starting at $27.00/hour, commensurate with experience.
