In this challenging and rewarding role, you will provide top-notch care to our patients in the Mother Baby unit. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This position is based at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs. You will work as part of a dynamic team that prioritizes wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. We value a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and promotes patient safety and quality.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience).
  • A valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • At least one year of nursing experience, including neonatal resuscitation program certification and BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $38.91 - $60.31 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization. In addition to base pay, you may also be eligible for night shift differential and incentive pay programs.
