Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and combustion systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation.
Requirements
  • Education: 2-year Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a machining and maintenance environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in blueprint reading, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical controls, and electrical distribution.
  • Software: Familiarity with software-driven controls, including Programmable Logic Controllers, Operator interfaces, Computer Numeric Controllers, Servo and Stepper Drive systems, and Robotics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Allen Bradley software: Experience with PLC2, RSLogix 500/5000, and PanelBuilder.
  • Siemens Software: Familiarity with TI, Step 5, and Step 7.
  • Fanuc Software: Experience with FAPT Ladder.
  • Koyo software: Familiarity with DirectSoft and C-More.
  • Motor and Drive software: Experience with Drive Explorer, PACSCI, and IBS.
  • Communication software: Familiarity with ProComm, PCIN, and RSLinx.
  • CNC equipment experience: Experience with Mazak, Haas, Mori Seiki, Doosan, DMG, Takamaz, and Murata.
  • Machining experience: Experience with CNC programming and machining.
  • AutoCAD design work: Familiarity with AutoCAD design software.
