Confectionary Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Confectionary Specialist to join our team at AEG. As a Confectionary Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting with the execution of our house-made fudge program.

• Assist with Fudge Program Execution: Assist with the execution of our house-made fudge program, including training fellow Sweeterie Team Members on fudge making procedures.
• Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to guests by carefully handling Sweeterie bakery items, following proper boxing procedures, and efficiently entering transactions into the register.
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage actively with guests in order to provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience, especially in regard to fudge offerings.
• Assist with Guest Inquiries: Assist guests with any questions about Sweeterie products they may have, including explaining item ingredients, as well as allergens, upon guests' requests.
• Communicate with Pastry Kitchen Staff: Communicate with pastry kitchen staff to restock Sweeterie items as needed.
• Maintain Store Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness throughout the store by cleaning, sanitizing, and sweeping/mopping work areas, including food preparation areas, food contact surfaces, guest-facing areas, and all floors and walkways.

• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying.
• Positive Attitude and Professional Image: Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the AEG guidelines.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees, and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level and lift up to sixty (60)pounds without assistance.
