About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geriatric Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Engage Senior Therapy. In this role, you will work with geriatric patients to determine appropriate physical therapy care and treatment.

You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. You will create and implement unique treatment plans for each patient's current level of functioning as well as potential improvement while demonstrating superior clinical judgment.

Your Typical Day:

  • Tap into your extensive expertise and passion for helping others by assessing and treating active older adult patients.
  • Engage in one-on-one one-hour physical therapy sessions within our warm and welcoming in-house outpatient clinics.
  • Develop strong bonds not just with patients but also with their families, doctors, and fellow team members to ensure collaborative care and successful outcomes.
  • Energize your patients to set ambitious goals and guide them to success, empowering them to live their fullest lives.
  • Stay proactive in identifying patient needs and take decisive action to address them.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.

About You:

  • Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Active or pending state license to practice physical therapy.
  • Experience or interest in a geriatric physical therapy setting.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population.
  • Drive to continually learn and grow.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
